| Dear Friend,
On the 26th August 2006, I visited the needy school children of the Muhoza I, Muhoza II, Nyamagumba, Kabaya and Cyuve Primary Schools of the Ruhengeri District in Rwanda, to deliver supplies of much needed school stationery. This donation would not have been possible without the many generous donations and support of the expat community living in the United Arab Emirates, a big thank you to you all.
In particular, I would like to thank United Parcel Service (UAE) L.L.C. for their kind and generous sponsorship by air freighting the more than 290Kg of supplies to Rwanda.
Thanks also to the South African Ambassador to Rwanda and the embassy staff for assisting with the customs clearance and transportation logistics in Kigali.
 Last but not least, I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to Ms Joyce Businge of International Tours & Travel who proved
indispensable in assisting me with this cause, by liaising with the District Director of Education, arranging transportation of the supplies from Kigali to Ruhengeri, accompanying me to the respective schools and acting as my interpreter, assisting with the children and photographing the official handover ceremony.
